was born in 1985, in Illinois.   She has always had a love of singing and performing.   As a child, she would watch Disney films at her parents' video store in Melrose Park, IL and act out musical scenes for customers.   In first grade, Lily began singing in the church choir at St. John Vianney in Northlake, IL.   She sang for that choir until she began attending Immaculate Conception High School in Elmhurst, IL where she sang for their church choir throughout her high school years.   From 2000 to 2004 Lily took private voice lessons at Stacey De & Co. in Lombard, IL which led her to win first place for vocal performance in the Classical Division and third place for Jazz/Pop Division at the Granquist Music Competition in 2003.   She also won first place for vocal performance in the Classical Division through the Illinois Music Association in 2004.   Also in 2004, Lily began pursuing her Bachelor of Arts in Music at Elmhurst College.   Upon beginning her freshman school year at Elmhurst College, she auditioned for and became a member of the Elmhurst College Concert Choir, which is an annually auditioned group of students who sing traditional and contemporary music.   With the choir she has toured throughout the United States performing in both schools and churches.   Some of the areas she has toured to with the choir include Nashville, Epcot Center in Walt Disney World Florida, and Enterprise High School in Alabama.   The choir will be traveling to Boston and New York in the spring of 2008 and Lily will be a featured soloist.   Over the past two years she has also been performing for various Ecuadorian events throughout the Chicagoland area.   Most recently she finished recording two Spanish tracks for the documentary Ecuador Lejos .

Edith Shirley PerezEdith Shirley Perez was born in 1980, in Illinois.   Her parents opened their first video store in Melrose Park when she was six years old.   As a child, she watched every childrens movie and musical that was in stock with her mother, Edith Perez, and her younger sister Lily.   Together, they would re-enact different scenes from movies for their parents.   During her grade school years she performed in the yearly Christmas musical productions.   Upon entering Immaculate Conception High School, she auditioned for and was cast in high school musical productions which included South Pacific and Guys & Dolls.   She has always had a love for the performing arts and aside from having taken private Latin ballroom dance lessons for several years; she also joined a Mexican Folkloric Dance Ballet called Raices Culturales during her college years.   She graduated from Elmhurst College in 2003 after having performed in several productions which included Into the Woods , A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum , The Miss Firecracker Contest , I Stand Before You Naked , and The Vagina Monologues .   During her years at Elmhurst College, she also branched her talents with a more technical aspect by stage-managing, directing and even doing make-up design for numerous productions at the Mill Theatre.   After having participated in the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival (KCACTF) in Evansville, Indiana in 2002, she decided to focus on a career in theatre and moved to Florida the following summer to complete an internship at Seaside Music Theatre.   After graduating with her Bachelor of Arts in Theatre in 2003, she was cast for and worked on a pilot for a children's educational show in Spanish.   While working on this show, she realized how much she enjoyed working on an educational production for children, as well as working with children.   When the show was not picked up, she made the decision to pursue her M.A. in Elementary Education at Benedictine University in Lisle, IL.   She is currently working on earning this degree and looks forward to the day when she will have her own classroom where she can use her artistic and creative abilities to educate students and encourage pursuit of the arts.   In 2007, she began working closely with her father, Fausto Antonio Perez, on production of the documentary Ecuador Lejos .   Having studied Spanish throughout her high school and college years, she drew upon her knowledge of both the English and Spanish language to provide the translated subtitles for this documentary.   She looks forward to working more closely on all upcoming productions by Atenas Producciones.
